Ahmed represents ISNUK™ in Kuwait and the wider Arabian Gulf region. He has extensive experience working with Kuwaiti students coming to the UK to study and has served as an advisor to the Kuwaiti Students Association in the UK for which he has also been an active fund-raiser. As an accomplished businessman both in the UK and Kuwait, with a far-reaching network of business associates and high-level contacts throughout the Arabian Gulf region, Ahmed also facilitates job placements and internships for students upon completion of their studies in the UK.
Joseph represents ISNUK™ in Ghana. Joe is Founder and Chairman of the Springs Group and Vice Chairman of Springs College in Accra which is affiliated with a number of UK institutions. Joe obtained his MBA in London and has first-hand experience of living and studying in the UK. He has also worked as a Senior Lecturer in London. His specialty is in the area of Strategic Business Information Technology. Joe is an ICT accredited partner of NCC Education in London and an Examiner for OCR in the UK.
Rubén represents ISNUK™ in the Europe. Until recently, Ruben worked for the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) as Programme Manager for the Partnerships division facilitating the needs of American students studying abroad. Rubén has extensive experience in international education and is a firm believer of the benefits of studying abroad. He himself was an international student, travelling from his native Spain to the UK for summer cultural programs along with a year at the University of Manchester and later to the USA, where he completed his graduate studies.
Eric represents ISNUK™ in Rwanda and the Central and East Africa region. Eric a firm believer that a strong education system is the engine for sustainable development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from the National University of Rwanda. Eric is currently serving as Rwanda Country Manager for the UK organization, Grow Movement, whose mission it is to empower African entrepreneurs with business skills. Prior to joining Grow Movement, Eric worked for another UK company, H20 Venture Partners. Eric has an extensive network of young graduates looking at setting up their own businesses.
Burim represents ISNUK™ in Kosovo. As an international student himself, Burim knows first-hand the challenges of studying abroad. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Master of Management and Public Administration. Burim has extesive experience working with students and preparing them for further studies both at home in Kosovo and abroad. He currently teaches Information and Communication Technology in Kosovo and has worked with a number of government agencies.
Nadeel represents ISNUK™ in Qatar and Malaysia. Nadeel worked as an educational counsellor while studying for her Bachelor degree in Malaysia at a branch of Staffordshire University and currently works as a Marketing and Social Media coordinator for a large firm in Qatar. Nadeel has extensive experience in student recruitment in the Middle East and Asia. She will be acting as the ISNUK™ recruitment manager and social media coordinator.
Prashant represents ISNUK™ in India. Until recently, Prashant worked for the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology and was responsible for intitutional development. He now has his own company that focuses on building institutional partnerships to enable Indian students to expand their educational opportunities both in India and abroad.
John represents ISNUK™ in Nigeria. He is Managing Director and CEO of Hemijon Global Entrprise which provides internships for graduates in computing. John is also an active social entrepreneur. He is President of the non-governmental organisation, Nigerian Youth Smile Initiative that focuses on empowering Nigerian youth to seek better futures and is currently setting up a Peace Advocacy Organisation.
Khatia represents ISNUK™ in Georgia. Khatia has extensive experience working with students and selecting them for study in the UK as well as coordinating educational programmes abroad for Georgian students. She has worked for a number of international organisations (including the Council of Europe, USAID, OSCE and the EU). Khatia holds a Master's degree in cultural studies and this has helped to increase her awareness of diversified cultural values.
Sherbaz Muhammad represents ISNUK™ in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Sherbaz has extensive experience in the Education and Development Sector. He has served as Examinations Manager and Deputy Regional Manager MENA (Middle East and North Africa) for the British Council in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as Business Development Consultant for EF Education First in Saudi Arabia, and more recently, as an expert for an EU-funded project in Pakistan. Sherbaz specializes in student counselling and recruitment for the international education market.
Mohammed represents ISNUK™ in Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. As an Education and Migration Consultant, Mohammed has been providing support to international students from South Asia since 1998. Mohammed is also involved in SAIELTA (South Asian International Education and Language Travel Association) and is currently its elected General Secretary. In addition, Mohammed writes extensively in the South Asian daily newspapers on issues related to overseas education and immigration.
Yu Ching represents ISNUK™ Taiwan. Yu Ching spent over a decade in the UK studying as an international student. Her engagement with international students' identities and experiences is deep-rooted and was a natural topic for her to research as her doctoral thesis. Currently, she is researching the legislation and policy impact of major international student host countries (such as the UK, US and Australia) on international student experiences and working as a post-doctoral policy analyst in a government think-tank.
Vijay represents ISNUK™ in Nepal. He is the founder and managing director of Rise Education Foundation and prides himself in helping students who need various levels of support to achieve their educational goals and to open doors for them. Rise Education is the leading educational consultancy in Kathmandu, offering students from all Nepal the support they need to study overseas.
Abdurahman represents ISNUK™ in Libya. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Psychology Department of Tripoli University and has extensive experience working with students. Abdurahman is also involved in civil society helping young people shape their future goals and the paths to achieving these goals.
Elizabeth represents ISNUK™ in Latvia and the Baltic States. She spent a year as an exchange student at Manchester Metropolitan University. This exchange experience broadened her horizons and started her thinking about Human Rights issues. Most importantly this experience enabled her to think more globally and to become more empathetic to other cultures. Elizabete is currently working for Nordea, the largest financial services group in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region.
Ann represents ISNUK™ in Malaysia where she is currently working on an education reform project for the Ministry of Education. Ann is American and studied in the UK. She has a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Roehampton. Ann has over 25 years in the education sector and has worked on a variety of international education projects around the world. She is passionate about making a positive contribution to the international education community.
Salvatore represents ISNUK™ in Spain and Italy. He has a unique background and blend of skills having spent over two decades in the Italian Army (Marine Corps), many years as a Professor of Management and as an executive in the higher education sector. Salvatore is a columnist for a variety of newspapers, key-note speaker, lecturer on leadership, trainer and coach. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Global Business Research Symposium and as a Corresponding Editor of the Review of Business Journal. Salvatore is currently based in Spain and supports international education through his work as a Visiting Professor for MBA and undergraduate students at Ramkhamhaneng University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Jatinderpal represents ISNUK™ in India. His company, WWES Group, focuses on advising students and helping them to choose their area of study and institution, especially in the UK, which is where Jatinderpal himself studied as a graduate student in West London. Jatinderpal's first-hand experience of living and studying in the UK, puts him in an ideal position to provide students coming to the UK to study, with practical and insightful advice. Jatinderpal is also keen to follow-up on the progress of the students he places in UK institutions.
Nhan is a Senior Manager at the British University Vietnam and serves as the ISNUK™ representative in Vietnam. Nhan is a start-up business mentor, employment skill trainer and career orientation adviser to students. Nhan is also a keen social activist and takes part in a variety of charity endeavours. She is currently supporting Vietnamese and other Asian students reach their personal development goals by helping them find the internships, apprenticeships or the right job opportunity. Nhan is a graduate of Canterbury Christ Church University with an MSc in Business Administration.
Ahmed represents ISNUK™ in Egypt and the Arabian Gulf region. He is co-founder of Novelty-Creators, a company specialized in e-marketing and mobile applications development. He has more than 11 years experience in managing e-learning projects in the Gulf region and is in continuous contact with students. Ahmed is originally from Egypt and a graduate of Cairo University. He has an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and is currently studying macroeconomics and media communication at two London-based colleges.
Ewa represents ISNUK™ in Poland. She is the Director of the Recruitment Department of International Language School of Poland which prepares students for studies at universities across Europe and beyond. Ewa is also an education consultant guiding students and helping them with their applications to foreign institutions. She believes in the value of international acquaintances and that studying abroad affords students a competitive advantage by giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience in cross-cultural communication.
Edmar represents ISNUK™ in Brazil. Until recently, Edmar was coordinator for the Brazilian Association of Researchers and Postgraduate Students in the UK (ABEP-UK). He holds is a Ph.D. in Sociology from Universtà degli studi di Milano, a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences and Masters in Social Psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Edmar has worked for both the public and private sectors. While working for QS Intelligence Unit, he collaborated on the ranking of universities in Latin America. Edmar is fluent in Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish.
Chidinma (Chi-Chi) is the ISNUK™ representative in the Caribbean. Chi, originally from Nigeria, was studying at the University of Liverpool until recently when she transferred to Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean to study medicine at the Windsor University School of Medicine. While in the UK, she was Vice President and a director of the Liverpool Guild of Students, as well as Open Place Committee member for the International Students' Campaign and International Student Officer of the Black Students' Campaign (both) of the National Union of Students. Chi won the 2013 UKCISA/NUS International Student Officer of the Year Award. That same year she also received the Humanitarian Award of the Liverpool Afro-Caribbean Society.
Abbas represents ISNUK™ in Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Iraq. He has worked for the Ministry of Education and was head of the research committee investigating problems within the Iran higher education system. Abbas also served as education expert at the Iran Supreme Cultural Secretariat. Currently, he is involved in educational consultancy with two offices - one in Tehran and one in Zanjan - focusing on abroad education and student exchanges. Abbas speaks Persian, Turkish, Azeri, English and Arabic.
Shafiqul represents ISNUK™ in Bangladesh. He is CEO and Lead Consultant of Global Study Consultancy in Dhaka. Shafiqul is a graduate of the University of Wales and so is very familiar with the challenges international students face when studying in the UK. It was his own personal experiences of studying in the UK that gave Shafiqul the incentive to establish Global Study Consultancy in the hope of assisting and supporting students who want to study abroad. Prior to this, Shafiqul worked as senior reporter at leading newspapers including the daily New Age, Daily Financial Express, Daily Janakantha and the Daily Manobzamin.
Mohammad represents ISNUK™ in Denmark and across Scandinavia. He has lived and studied in Sweden, Denmark, USA Norway and Bangladesh. Mohammad is Chief Editor of Copenhagen Bangla Barta and a member of the Danish Union of Journalist. Mohammad is involved in a variety of social activities. He is President of the Danish Greencard Assocaition (DGCA) and Vice President of the Economic Association of the University of Chittagong in Bangladesh. Mohammad is currently the Managing Director of Global Education Denmark.
Koray represents ISNUK™ in Turkey. He currently works as an international relations officer at Aksaray University. Koray holds a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature and is continuing his education in Political Science and Public Administration. Koray has extensive experienced in international education and especially in the area of student exchange and study abroad. His work requires him to travel and visit many countries and experiencing different cultures.
