Birkbeck is offering an unlimited number of merit scholarships to suitably qualified students from Thailand, Vietnam and India who accept offers to do Master’s degree programmes at Birkbeck, University of London, starting in September 2014. Scholarships may not be held in conjunction with any other Birkbeck-funded/supported scholarship or where the fees are fully-funded by other sources.
British Council announces scholarships worth INR 100 million. The British Council’s GREAT Scholarships program is the largest such scheme ever launched in India, with 36 British universities set to offer scholarships to 370 bright Indian students this year. Institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are offering the awards for 260 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
University of Manchester has invited applications for the EPSRC Doctoral Prize. Successful applicants will be expected to take their research to the next level and undertake significant new research. Candidates must have been funded for their PhD studies by the EPSRC in the form of fees and/or stipend in order to be eligible for an EPSRC Doctoral Prize. Application deadline is September 15, 2014.
The BOAHR Scholarships are five fully funded scholarships (one per year) for candidates from ASEAN countries to study for the Master’s in International Human Rights Law at the University of Oxford. The first scholarship has already been awarded (for the course starting September 2014). The second is available for course starting September 2015. Application deadline is January 23, 2015.
