The Anne McLaren Fellowships are aimed at outstanding female scholars in science, technology, engineering and/or medicine at the early stage of their academic careers. The Fellowships enable female researchers in STEM subjects – often under-represented in these areas - to establish independent research careers. Fellowships normally commence in October 2015, but there is individual flexibility.
Oxford University is inviting applications for graduate scholarships available for international students.The scholarship will include 100% of University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £13,863). Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Application deadline is Jan 2015.
Cardiff University is inviting applications for a PhD studentship in Biological Engineering. The award is open to UK and EU students. This studentship is generously funded by NERC GW4+ and consists of full UK/EU tuition fees, as well as a Doctoral Stipend (£14,167 p.a. for 2015/16, updated each year). Only one studentship will be awarded. The deadline for applications is the 14th September 2014.
