Commonwealth Professional Fellowships support mid-career professionals from developing Commonwealth countries to spend a period of time with a UK host organisation working in their field for a programme of professional development. Fellowships are typically three months but can be between one and six months in length, and cover airfares, living expenses and up to £3,000 for other eligible costs.

Each scholarship will have a value of £2,500 and will be tenable for one academic year. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh. The University of Manchester is offering up to four scholarships for full-time Master’s courses to Rwandan applicants starting in September 2015. The scholarships cover full tuition fees, return international air fares and living expenses. Scholarships are only available for specific courses in engineering, environment, medical and life sciences, and law. Application deadline is November 15, 2014.
